Jannel graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Complex Litigation. Prior to that, she obtained her B.A. at Florida International University. Before fulfilling her lifelong goal of attending law school and becoming a lawyer, Jannel helped manage tens of thousands of property tax and homestead exemption appeals throughout South Florida. Her vast experience assures clients that their concerns will be addressed by someone with an understanding of their real estate tax and exemption options.
A proud Miami native of Cuban descent, Jannel is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband and their newborn baby, affectionately known as “Baby J.”
